Also located in Kadriorg Park this art museum is more noted for its location than its exhibits. It’s housed in the Kadriorg Palace (1718-1729), built by Peter the Great for his wife Ekaterina I. For anyone who hasn’t been to Russia, this provides a splendid opportunity to take in Russian Baroque opulence, replete with ceiling paintings, ostentatious ornamentation, outdoor fountains and manicured gardens.
